June 2020 Newsletter

Quite a Month! (Again) And I, honestly, don't know where to begin. Like a lot of us, I'm sad and angry about what we've been seeing in the news. And my heart goes out to everyone hurting and trying to come to grips with the trauma we're going through as a nation in the U.S. Although, certainly, earlier this month I would have said "globally" as my thoughts were more on Covid-19 than on racism and police brutality and everything that has come since. Most of my blog posts last month were about that—I haven't written anything since the protests in the U.S. started to happen. I wish for you all soothing from any pain you've been in, a place to be heard if that's what you need now, and for you to be surrounded by love.

This month's news

What's new? I have lots of new customers this month. If that describes you, welcome! Etsy made some changes recently and I've been sitting tight watching how it would affect me and Mama Love. The GOOD news is more customers and more business! The not so good news is that it comes with a significant increase in fees to help pay for Etsy's advertising. So for the first time in awhile I've had to raise my prices a little: $0.25 for each item under $10, $0.50 for items over $10. Hopefully, that will work for me and not be a hardship for you. I just wanted you to know what it was for. I do appreciate your business and don't raise my prices lightly!
